I’m a Researcher on the 3D Vision Team at Apple in Cupertino, California. I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Computer Vision and Geometry Group of ETH Zurich, working with Marc Pollefeys. During my Ph.D., I was a Research Scientist Intern at NVIDIA with Zan Gojcic, and at Meta Reality Labs with Peter Kontschieder’s team, working with Samuel Rota Bulò. I obtained my M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University, where I worked with Jonathon Luiten and Bastian Leibe as a Student Researcher. In 2020, I was a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley with Trevor Darrell. My research focuses on 3D computer vision techniques that let AI systems perceive, model, and interact with the physical world.
